Unhappy [Q] Camera not running at all - Turn off usb storage to use camera

Guys

I am very dissapointed with the galaxy s that I recently bought from singapore. It doesnt have international warranty, which is kind of awkward. Next, I am not able to

1. use the camera (always getting msg - Turn off USB storage to use camera)
2. not able to use Internal 16 gb memory as it says (Internal SD card - total space: unavailable, avialable space: unavailable) - I somehow managed it work once though by removing the battery and setting to factory settings. Then the camera also started to work. However, when I restart the phone it went back to "unavailable - internal and external memory" again. camera is complaining to turn off usb storage to use it.
3. not able to make use of external memory as mount sd card and format sd card are grayed out and total space/available spaces are showing as unavailable)

I am currently on Factory rom with following specifications.

Baseband Version I9000DXJPB,
Firware Version - 2.2;
Kernel version - 2.6.32.9 root-at-SE-S604 #1;
Build Number : FROYO.DXJPE

I have been searching on net for solutions but not been successfull yet. Can anyone please help as I am getting very emotional about the money I spent on it. I will be very thankful to the brainy people out there who can resolve my Galaxy S issues. I dont want to loose such a wonderful mobile because of the above petty issues. Samsung helpdesk at NZ are not responding for some reason and same as the singapore samsung helpdesk.

Thanks in advance
vbrsekhar.

You might want to ask in the i9000 forums. This is the Galaxy S 4G forums.

Did you try mounting your SD card. Format SD card should be greyed out if SD card is mounted.

step one get odin

step 2 visit the vibrant fourms as this is a galaxy s 4g not the vibrant

step 3 download a odin stock rom (pre rooted or not) that has the pitt file

step 4 re parttion and flash :P

step 5 use phone as intended :P

So don't you worry your pretty little mind
People throw rocks at things that shine
And life makes love look hard
The stakes are high, the water's rough
But this love is ours
