Default try changing your rootfs or backlight settings

Before you started android, did you remember to turn off auto backlight in windows mobile, also update to the newest radio and winmo rom.

If you want to do these things one by one untill the problem is gone.

That shouldn't be necessary anymore with FRX04/05 or GBX0A, but it can't hurt not letting WinMo do anything by itself.

In addition to turning off auto backlight in WinMo, try using a different sleep mode.

Mine wakes up all the time (sometimes it takes a few seconds) with sleep mode 3.
Okay, so the battery drains a little faster, but 10hrs is long enough for me, for now.

try the newest zimage rootfs and initra from xdandroid.com

sometimes you have to wait for a few seconds

btw what bundle are you running
Current Devices:2xIPAQ (hx2410,hx2190), Kaiser(Kais130),LG Expo, SGS2, SGNote.
All Devices used for experiments so they are always running the newest software both winmo and android as available. PM if you want me to test anything.

Read this if you have any complaints about Optimus 2X

From http://www.androidonhtc.com/wiki/Boot_Options:

Values

* 0 - Power Collapse Suspend
* 1 - Power Collapse - __Provides best power savings__
* 2 - Apps Sleep
* 3 - Slow Clock and Wait for Interrupt (default)
* 4 - Wait for Interrupt
Since 3 seems to be default, try that.
If you don't know how to: it's in the startup.txt. There's a line starting with set cmdline. You insert the command in that line somewhere between the "..."

set cmdline "bla.bla_bla=x pm.sleep_mode=x bla.bla_bla=x"
