Default How do I uninstall Google Maps?

I want to uninstall Google Maps but I can't find how to do it. I've done a search on the subject but all I've found is how to uninstall the updates. I tried to use TiB but maps comes back after the phone is rebooted and I tried to use Root Explorer but I can't find any maps file.

Root explorer, system/apps/maps.apk

Sent from my SCH-I500 using XDA Premium App
LTE Galaxy Nexus w/Google Wallet and no VZW apps
Asus TF300

Fascinate/ED05-CyanogenMod

Best error message I ever got was from the market "cannot find bing, installation aborted"

If I helped you out, don't forget to say thanks.

A simple search in Root Explorer or similar app would have told you where the file is.
