This ROM works fine for me, however after a few shutdown/starts of the device it doesn't start anymore, a red light on the right side shows and the screen stays blank (but on, I can see the backlight). Not even the rescue boot loader starts so I have to use the restore tools. After that I can restore it from backup, anyone an idea?

Forgot to add: I tried disabling that 2loop thing after this happened the second time, didn't change anything.

Any chance for better battery life?

my first post in the NI forum.
I have an NI PQI-Wifi model.

I just recently upgraded it to Beast 2.2.1.

one of the many problems with the NI:
Even when at sleep and full power initially, it loses power to about 50% by end of day or overnight.

Is there any way to prevent the battery drain?
Or am i too ambitious?

I've switched over to Honeycomb!

Thanks for all the hard work on Beast, it is a great Android 2.x ROM.

I would love to see some of the toggles, and tweeks in Beast, make their way too HC (SD card, activity light...etc)

Random Freezes

I get random freezes in beast 2.2.1 in various conditions.Anyone else got the same problem ?
Also my Gps and compass are not working well,the compass tends to bounce from side to side like mad.
In the GPS poles are upside down.
any fix ?

I have the same problem. I can't determine where compass points but definitely not where the north is.

GPS - it initialized only twice, and showed my location ok, but I now it doesn't work, I tried it with Yandex.Maps, Google Maps, GPS status - no result.

Maybe there is some way to reset the GPS? I also had to change my android_id, could it be related somehow?

Don't want to switch back on the original ROM.

bluetooth problem

Has anyone had a bluetooth problem with the Beast ROM? I have LG HBS700 headset. Initially I had a hard time getting bluetooth to turn on with the phone radio off. I turned the phone radio on and got BT on. Paired. Then turned phone radio back off. BT was still on, but I had to pair again. Seemed to work. Started video and it works for a few minutes and them the headset cuts off and I get silence until I fast-forward and then it goes to speakers.

Then I turned the phone radio back on and BT works.

Why does the phone radio have to be on to use BT?
