Default Is it possible to port this?

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=971987

As you have probably heard, the 2.3.3 update for the Nexus S sort of calibrates the screen. I am one of the few who has every tv in the house professionally calibrated, and sAMOLED has a ton of issues with over-saturated colors, too cool of a color temperature, red or purple grays at lower brightness settings, and the grayscale is off. Is it possible that these calibration tools can be ported to the Fascinate, so that it will have a more calibrated screen? I would love to get rid of the purple tinges to certain shades of gray at low brightness settings.

Supercurio has a color fix in his Voodoo package, but it can't be applied to the Fascinate Froyo leaks, because we don't have the kernel source code necessary to make the modifications. It was implemented on the Eclair Voodoo kernels, and will be applied to Froyo and Gingerbread roms in the future once working source is available.

Yes, but it was only at 100% brightness. Either way, I wish Samsung would hurry up with Froyo and the source code. I know it was tweeted that it is coming, but I am starting to doubt that.

If you follow supercurio on twitter, you'll see that he has been doing QUITE an extensive amount of research into color calibration on the Nexus S, and will likely be porting all fixes to the Galaxy S series as well. The color fix is not a finished product, but rather a work in progress.
