I have been struggling to get data with CM7 on my i9000m. I have the proper apn settings inputed and I have also tried this method http://xdaforums.com/showpost.php?p=11490655&postcount=2 to no avale. I am using the JK4 modem and mod version 03122011. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

get into recovery menu and go to mounts and storage and then mount / unmount data..

Fixed it, it was an APN setting silly me. With Samsung roms you could have the HSPA and MMS settings in one APN. The settings had to be broken out as follows for it to work:
SaskTel 3G+ (Name)
APN: inet.stm.sk.ca
MCC:302
MNC:780
APN type: default
After creating this setting – save the apn
Now, create a new apn setting
Sasktel mms (name)
APN: proxy.stm.sk.ca
Proxy: mig.sasktel.com
Port:80
MMSC: http://mms.sasktel.com
MMS Proxy: mig.sasktel.com
MMS Port: 80
MCC: 302
MNC: 780
APN Type: mms
After creating this setting save the file
Now, the first apn must be selected.
