[Q] S-OFF but not rooted?

Member - OP Thanks Meter 2 Posts: 63 Join Date: Dec 2008 Location: Santa Clara, CA. More Info >	[Q] S-OFF but not rooted? New to this rooting business. Used the [DEV][GUI][RC1][GPL][3-03-2011] HTC Inspire 4G Simple Root and S-OFF method for rooting, I think sucessfully. HBOOT says I have S-OFF. But tried an app that requires root, and it says I am not. Also, tried to uninstall GMAIL as a test of removing ATT software, and I do not get the Unistall option.
