battery usage on CM6.1.0 tmobile g1 USA now using in India

Hi,

I purchased tmobile g1 phone from ebay USA. Now I moved to India. It came installed with android 1.6 and DMD64 build. It was having good battery life. Almost 12 hours with sufficient usage.

Then I installed CM6.1.0 and danger spl as 2.22.23.02 T-Mobile / US.

Installing CyanogenMod 5+


Now I see battery draining in 2 hours. Battery usages shows things like:
android OS 55%
cell standby 22%
android system 9%

The battery does feel warm when its charged/charging and then draining even with no usage of phone.


I have also done power saving tips like disable GPS, use 2G, disable bluetooth, set display brightness to min (earlier it showed 82% power usage by display so I set to MIN). But still I get above results now.

is battery dying or bug with my install or bug in cm6.1.0 ?
