Lg Optimus 2x vanilla rom 2.3?

Hey,

I just got my LG and I dont like the LG setup of software and firmware..
Is there any known ported roms that works fine wich is 2.3 and vanilla?
I.E the nexus S rom...

Would appriciate the help!

I very much doubt there will be any custom ROMs available for this device just now..... but there are active members in this forum who are going to be porting CM7 and Paul @ Modaco also is going to dev for this phone.

Paul already has got a insecure boot image loaded on the 2X

Getting my sample hopefully tomorrow...

Nah. Only a tweet saying he had done it.
I think he is pretty busy these days. (Sick kid in the hospital)
So i would except a few days to pass before he really gets going.

Just say if you need someone to test that recovery you got working.. btw how the hell did you even get into recovery? adb reboot recovery doesn't work
