[Q] Use of LED for notifications

Has anyone been able to use the LED on their HD7 for notificatons for emails or missed texts? Advanced config is wonderful and I'd love to see that light blinking instead of having to power up the screen just to check...

This has been discussed in multiple forums. As of now, still not possible.
