It's been about a Month now that I have the 32GB Class 10 Micro SDHC card in my HTC Arrive. No problems here at all. I haven't noticed any slow down at all. If anything, it's Faster than the 16GB card that came in the phone. I'm very much considering getting the 64GB Micro SDXA card when the price drops. right now I have over 12 Hours of Videos on the phone and still have a ton of space. 19.30GB space left right now.

I upgraded my memory with a 32GB Class 4 Sandisk micro SD and the upgrade all went fine as described in this thread but I have had an issue since.

When I open the keyboard and then close it, the device often cuts out as if it has lost power. It doesn't go through the "Goodbye" close down, just a straight off, as if the battery has been taken out. This doesn't happen every time. I'd almost swear it happens when the phone has been on for a while, it doesn't happen when I have just restarted it after it crashed the last time.

I have tried shaking the battery to see if it is loose and it is not. I have tried shaking the phone and hitting the side to see if it is a result of the impact of the screen closing but it is not.

When I turn it back on, enter SIM pin etc. then all the sites in IE require their logon again so it's not just as simple as turning it back on.

Of course the warranty is voided by my having changed the memory card.

Does anyone think the two are connected or can anyone suggest any fix?

Question Transfer from old card

Has anyone tried using Norton Ghost (or something similar) to transfer and expand the partition from their original card to the new one, allowing you to keep all of your old info?

I tried everything I could to reuse the old card, but nothing seem to recognize it. So I just trashed it.

You can use a Nokia phone with Symbian OS and a card slot on the phone to format the card.

I used a kingston 16gb class 4 (see photo) and noticed some slack in youtube and other video.
I bought a second 7 pro for my wife and that phone was much faster.

After replacing the orginal card there was no delay or slack.

Re. Using nokia/symbian for re-formatting old card. When I have tried this, I am prompted for the card's PIN. Anyone know what the default is? Tried all the obvious ones. 0000, 1234, 9999, etc.
