no,you cannot go "straight to revolutionary" the exploit used in revolutionary is patched in 2.11.605.9

your options are:
1)downgrade
2)temp root with freevo
3)htcdev unlock then flash a rom based on 2.11.605.5 or older

then you can run revolutionary. 3 is the most complex, and will void "all or parts of your warranty"

I saw something earlier in the thread about Thunderbolt having 8gb of extra space that we normally dont have access to. I wanted to know how to get that. I am currently rooted with the revolutionary with s-off and I am running liquid smooth 3.2. However I do not see any extra space for the internal memory. Its maxed at 2.5 gb but my SD card has 32gb max. At this point what do I need to do?

From what I understand the emmc is 8gb total but only 4gb is visible. Why is it like that? No idea.... But let's hope it was like that for ics preparation.

Pretty sure part of it is used for the data partition.

There was a thread somewhere that explains the missing memory. I will see if I can find it again. However, no matter what you try to do, you will never get to use this memory. The way its partitioned is what is making it unavailable to us but rest assured it is there and is being used by something. Again, I'll try to find that thread.

sent from my phone.
