thunderbolt > fascinate?

i posted the same question in the fascinate general forums...

im just wondering if any of you htc thunderbolt users have had a chance to use the fascinate? im running DarkREVENGE v3.0 eb01 on my fascinate and i really like it... is it worth the switch?

i was sorta hoping for a dual core phone but it looks like the bionic is the next one up on LTE... and thats moto with their locked bootloader, so it makes it really unappealing. i read that there should be a samsung galaxy lte phone coming down the road.. but after the level of support.. im not sure if id buy another samsung (even though the dev community is amazing!)..

I think it depends what you are looking for, LTE is far faster than my fascinate and it isn't even close. The phone it's self feels much faster than my fascinate but is actually weaker IMHO. It is lagging behind the fascinate when it comes to one thing: GAMES. I hate to say this but I feel confident in saying the bionic will not play games BETTER, than the fascinate, possibly as good but not better. I saw some benchmarks the other day from smartbench from a gaming capabilty and computing power, the only phone able to beat the galaxy a line was atrix, an it has an extra 500mb of RAM, so it should. I love love love the bolt it's awesome but if you want something that will blow away your fascinate hold off, well actually the Internet speeds will blow it away. **** they will blow everything away
