This works (but I only "fastboot boot"ed it :
While I have a different problem, I can't get mine to update to MM regardless of what ROM or XC used, I did have a similar scenario that you have described. I found that there are several TWRP files out there. Some are labeled TWRPMM or TWRP and labeled even differently. If you have not tried different files, even though they may labeled the same, you may want to try that.
Same problem here... i cant reboot in recovery mode (by mistake i has flashed new_boot.img.tar, now i dont have stock recovery and twrp too...)
Update: I has used Xperia Companion to repair SW50 and now i have stock recovery again and SW50 updated toM1D63G version... Now what i need to do to use TWRP and flash custom ROM?
Glad to hear it. I have tried XC but it said it was successful, but it would not boot up. So, I had to go back to LCA43. I really haven't studied the differences between MM and LP, but I get good battery with LP and everything else seems to work that I have tried except the app Golfshot. Oh well.
Flash ROM with root and twrp. How do I root my 6.0 SW3?
I can boot TWRP, but it says "Internal Storage: 0MB" and fails to mount /data.
Is there a method to fix this, or without TWRP?
This recovery seems to be incompatible with 5.1.1 update (apparently new bootloader was added) - when booting to recovery it just reboots into normal mode.
Can anyone post img link to old bootloader?
1. Download boot image from this post. Do not forget to extract img file out of tar file.
2. Get watch into fastboot mode (either via holding power button while turning it on or via "adb reboot bootloader" command)
3. Run "fastboot boot boot.img" (where boot.img is the name of the file you downloaded in step 1) from your PC command line
4. Watch should be booted into TWRP now. Flash wear supersu that you can get from this post. It is same SuperSU than 5.0, works for me at least.
