Default [Q] - rooting my device

Hi,

I want to root my device and on a previous thread(http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2684273),
I was basiclly directed how to flash a new rooted rom, with a lot of steps on the way.

I didnt rooted my device and i want to do it now.
As i understand there is now a faster less complicted way - http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2784900.
Is it safe? was it used already by forum member here? how long the entire process needs?

Thanks in advance for any input....

Depends on your aptitude and ability to follow instructions, and a hell of a lot longer if you need to start a new thread for others to hold your hand through the process.

Ok, I'll do my best to follow instructions and be as patient as possible.
You are right regarding the "holding my hand" thing, i dont want to brick my device, yet....
Any real answers?

Thanks any way!

It has over 100'000 downloads, so I think it's safe to say that it was already used by forum members. The entire process takes around 1 minute.

It says in the thread:

Bootloader is untouched!
This means that if your bootloader is locked, it will stay locked.
