Hello all,

I have just recived my Sony Xperia z1 compact and want to install CyanogenMod on it.
However, this is my 1st smartphone.. EVER.. so I haven't the slightest clue on how to do this.
Can someone explain to me how to do this so I can restore the phone back to factory specs incase of a warranty issue.

I want to back up everything so I can revert back to stock and relock bootloader if needed so sony can't tell I voided the warranty

That thread is there to help, so if reading guides like that is an issue you're going to have problems. Are you even able to unlock your BL, if not you can forget CM anyway. http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2631291

You can install Wakelock Detector from google play to see what is causing the drain
