I bought the Note 7 on Sprint's 'Buy a Note 7 get an s7 or s7 edge free' deal. Is there anyone else who's done this? And if so, how does sprint handle it? Right now I have to pay monthly for the note 7 and the s7 edge. But Sprint reimburses the monthly cost of the s7 edge. Will they continue to reimburse those monthly costs if I switch to another phone?

That's a good question, I wonder if you just turned the note in and got a refund and waited for the S8 and went to an old phone would that mean your S7 was basically free? Everything else that they gave away with the note 7's people got to keep

Pretty sure you're tied in for long term on second edge. They will Bill you then refund every month for 24 months. Not sure how it would work if you paid of first edge early, but my guess it's they would continue to bill and refund against whatever line it's tied to.
