Tripped Knox doesn't effect updates.

Then any idea why looking for updates gives me a "Cannot update software, your device has been modified"?

Because you are rooted...you always have to be on stock everything for updates to happen

Not concerned about Knox /warranty you can always flash stock firmware back to factory to update and I have insurance so I take a hammer to it if it needs replaced. I'd rather have root than no root just my 2 cents. My xperia z1s required a factory flash to upgrade to 4.4.2. For what it's worth worked perfectly took thirty seconds through odin

This worked for me, and I am now rooted. Thanks for the link, and a big thanks to Chainfire for the work!
