You know had I done my research I would not have gotten the T23x,xx. 7.0 inch tablet. At this point I've waited more than a care to with this tablet and will be replacing it ASAP. And as much as I hate to lose money, because it's a worthless tablet. I'll send it to a developer for the cost of shipping once I have my new one.

This tablet has only done two things that has made me happy, get into the tablet market, and get back into writing. Outside of that I'm not happy with it at all.

Flashed it on sm t231, everything looks perfect in Odin, but the recovery isn't installed.
Is there a different recovery img that I could flash?
I just want root to debloat this tab... God; its full of Samsung Apps.
Current firmware 4.4.2 OANJ4
Any help will be appreciated

Testing version too

I build this TWRP using sample source from Team Win Recovery Project
and useful degas-unpackbootimg for samsung PXA1088.

what is working :

wipe dalvik cache
fix permissions
gain root from stock
backup to external sdcard
built-in filemanager

what is not working :
can not wipe cache partition & little bit tricky to restore system partition.
and maybe many more, i didn't test all function

In case failed to restore System backup, "E:Unable to mount /system "

Restart/reboot twrp recovery, just restore SYSTEM (single partition),
MAKE sure to Tap System checkbox in twrp mount menu + md5 not check, before restore it again.
then restore other partition one by one.

How to flash :
extract attachment recovery twrp SM-T231 zip first.

Flash through Odin 3.09 > (recovery.img.tar.md5)
Since this is testing and Unofficial, flash at your own risk

There is a TW build flag 'system allways mounted' or similar, you can try.
