Hello. Is it possible to create a widget to pull data from the built in lg g3 health app to display dailys steps walked on the home screen?

Hello. Is it possible to create a widget to pull data from the built in lg g3 health app to display dailys steps walked on the home screen?

I'm wondering that as well. It seems like a cool app but the only way to access it is to use the stupid smart tips thing which ties you to the default launcher.
