[Q] Rooting LG G3 using Stump? Custom Recovery?

Hey guys so i just found out about Stump root which is basically a one touch root app for all lg g3 variants.

Anyways my question is if i root my g3 with this method how do i install a custom recovery? has anyone rooted their phone with this method and installed a custom recovery?

Totally different phone. Feel free to try tho. If our method did not work on Verizon and sprint I doubt it will vise versa

Huh? No the stump root works for the lg g3 theres a video of it being used and its such an easy way of rooting it

I used PurpleDrake also for 3 tmobile phones. Was super simple and worked perfect. I used option one with TWRP and modded boot.

Option one with TWRP? Is that an option you can pick while in purpledrake? Im trying to understand where youre getting TWRP from exactly. I havent rooted yet. Just gathering info.

Yes purple drake gives 3 options during install twrp with modded boot / twrp /or just root no custom recovery

Oh sweet! Do u mind explaining what modded boot means? Not sure what that does.

I used Stump to root my D851 and used the following method to install TWRP.
