I finally updated to kitkat and updated the baseband to 24A as well. I'm on a stock debloated rom and I have to say I am not impressed with the update. The battery life is not as good as it was when I was on JB and 12B and the phone gets hot by just sitting there.
I thought the GPS would be the main problem, but I turn it on/off manually and use it only when I need to use it.
I just recently looked at what is using my battery and it was the email app at 34%. I only have one account push synced on it now and on JB/12B I had at least 3 accounts. I'm just wondering what you guys have done to improve the battery life or temperatures on the LG G2.
BTW, I also have a couple of mods running:
  • xdabbeb Hotspot Provision
  • Xposed installer and app settings, tabletmetrics modules

EDIT: I found out that the email app was the problem. I took a look at the battery usage and found out that the email app was using 54% of the battery. I only had one exchange account and it was push synced. Here is a screenshot of my battery showing before I disabled my email and after I disabled my email.

Battery life is **** on 4.4 regardless. I'm going back to 4.2.2. for a while.
