Just curious on how to update my phone to KitKat and if it's even worth it. Rooted my phone a long time ago and am still on JB 4.3. Is there improvements on KitKat? What steps would I have to take to update my rooted phone?

If you're thinking about it start here:

Once you're up and running, see how the NC2 modem works for you. If you're signal is weak, you try swapping out for the NC4 or MJE modem here:

Modems are flashed in Odin.

I will not be getting the N4 anytime soon. I've been pretty content with JB 4.3 on cleanrom 1.7 but just curious if there are advantages with KitKat.

If that is true then you can upgrade to NC2 or NC4. The procedure seems straightforward.
