I've used Foxfi for a long time, mainly because it used to work well, and because I bought the key to unlock the unlimited data. It's now known as pdanet. On the note 3 it requires you to set a lock screen code and even after uninstalling, the system won't let me revert back to no lock screen.

So 2 questions.
1. Anybody know how to get rid of whatever permission was required so I can lose the lock screen?
2. What hotspot app are you guys using? Btw, I'm rooted, kitkat, eclipse rom

You have to remove the VPN certificate that FoxFi installs before you can lose the lock screen.
