you can uninstall towellroot like a normal app, then in Su, choose clean up for un-root. profit.

Does that process actually remove root?

I went from NC2 then used odin to upgrade to NC4. I lost root, custom rom status, and wifi tethering-wah! No big deal since I'm getting a warranty replacement tomorrow anyways (signal issue many are experiencing). However, all my apps and customizations were still intact after the odin flash(Nova launcher with L preview look, custom toggles bar). All of my data in the internal SD card was still intact as well. I suggest a factory reset with data erasing either in settings or in Vol-up, home, Power button recovery boot before or after the flash in odin.
