Beans you always make my life easier haha thanks man!

But seriously, though... you wasted no time getting official FW bases out.

So a person flashes the ne9 rom.

Why is the other step 6 firmware/bootloader package necessary?

Is it not possible for an all in one rom flash?

Love your work just interested in learning as I flash heh

---------- Post added at 09:29 PM ---------- Previous post was at 09:28 PM ----------

Like say I flashed the rom & skipped step 6 would it fail to boot? Bootloop?

Firmware package is necessary to have the lastest kernel, trust zone, etc...
No. Since our bootloaders are locked, an all in one rom flash would brick you. That, and safestrap (as far as I know) does not flash any other partitions other than system and data. Also, flashing those via ODIN is MUCH safer. I've not heard of anyone bricking from flashing a corrupted image via ODIN since ODIN verifies the MD5.

Samsung's somewhat failed attempt at "iTunes". Also used to download official firmware.
