Smart Alert & Direct Call

Is anyone else having problems with smart alert and direct dial? Both have stopped working for me recently?

Rooted Verizon GS5

I haven't been able to get smart alert to work on my phone since I've owned it, even before I rooted it. This link talks about how it might just be a kitkat/s5 issue: http://forums.androidcentral.com/sam...orking-s5.html

As for direct dial, mine it's still working, so I'm not sure what the problem would be there. Did you freeze or uninstall any stock apps after rooting?

I saw that thread when I was searching for a solution. Smart Alert was working when I first rooted the phone but stopped sometime later. I'm debating odining back to stock and re-rooting to see that restores functionality. What a PITA. I haven't uninstalled anything yet and the only things I've frozen are some Amazon stuff, audible, cloud, Isis, Knox notification manager, SDM 1.0, security policy updates, and VZ navigator.

I hope someone finds a solution because I really like smart alert.
