It's Football season! A few short months ago, I was able to connect my HTC One to my MHL cable and connect it to hdmi to my tv and watch nfl network live on my big screen. The new nfl mobile app update stops us from doing that. I pay $5 a month for this app so that I don't have to spend $135 on cable to watch nfl games. Come on Verizon and NFL, does anyone else think that this is unacceptable? Any way around it?

This just recently happened to me on my samsung galaxy 5 and the most recent NFL mobile update that hit my phone which was around 9/25/2015. When using MHL (HDMI out) the app works and send out to HDMI when the phone is vertical. When you turn the phone horizontal you get a message that says "Please disconnect your device in order to view". Yes! this unacceptable! Basically they are saying you must either watch football all by your self on your tiny phone or pay $100 or more a month for cable to watch football with anyone else. The NFL and Comcast basically have a monopoly on it all so there is no other alternative so we just have to suck it, or maybe we should all start boycotting football (like that will ever happen).
