I remember reading a while back that DigitalHigh would bring it to VZW M8 after Xiaomi released the international version for the M8.

Right on! I went back to an HTC phone SPECIFICALLY to be able to use MIUI again lol

MIUI is only 4.0, 4.1, 4.2, 4.3 at the moment. There's some work to do before something like that can happen.
