Never broken a charging port before. This one broke on the third time I plugged it in.. anyone else?

Haven't broken mine but it seems pretty difficult to plug the charger in.

I have noticed charger will go in smoothly if tilted so the head points downward while going into the port. In short, attack the port from the top, not straight on.

I figured this out from the first time I plugged it in but I thought my port was just defective. I can't believe this is a build flaw. Thanks for letting me know my phone isn't defective. It would have bothered me every time I plug it in.
