Known software applications that have problems on the Rhodium:
- The shipped version of Opera does support the zoom slider, the newest version 10 does not
- TCPMP - Requires to change Options/Settings... and choose the DirectDraw page, then tick the box that says "Use blitting instead of overlay" or to switch video mode (Options -> Video) from DirectDraw to Raw or GDI as of this post
- TomTom now tells that it is compatible and yes, it runs perfectly on my device (mda vario v) but if you install it on the device it might overwrite BtCoreIf.dll and BtSdkCE30.dll which the device later on complains. I just did a backup of these files before installation and restored them after installation. Not sure if this is still necessary ...
- Another way to fix this is to simply delete the new BtSdkCE30.dll end restart the phone, a new one will be generated and the problem fixed.
Registry Hacks
Windows Mobile 6.5 & HTC Sense 2.5
NOTE: - Not all Registry modifications will work with all flavours of device and combination of software installed. The modifications and adjustments set out below are for the standard WWE HTC ROM Ver. 2.07.401.1.

This changes the VideoMemory max heap from 16k to 32k

This turns off VSync in sense, making it MUCH smoother. Check out the speed of the weather animations now! See that they "judder" less!

This should allow Sense to have some room to breathe.

Unfortunately, HTC forget to tell Sense where to locally cache the Facebook Album images, both thumbnails and full size. this little tweak lets it know where and will then let you view your friends images. We would suggest this points to a folder on a storage card.
