Intro
The HTC Wildfire S (codenamed Marvel) was originally designed and released on GSM networks. Later, CDMA variants were added (marvelc & marvelct) and released as model A510c. The HTC Wildfire S was HTC's last ARMv6 phone.
ROMs
Warning: GSM and CDMA roms are NOT the same, flashing a ROM meant for a different model may result in a brick!
The HTC Wildfire S runs Sense version 2.1 with Android 2.3.3/2.3.5 by default, the HTC Wildfire S (both GSM/CDMA variants) are not planned to receive official HTC ICS/Jellybean updates.
There are unofficial releases of CyanogenMod 7, 9 and 10 for this device and ICS-based AOKP Build 36-38. There are roughly 116 ports/custom ROMS for the HTC Wildfire S that are downloadable from XDA-Developers.
