• Help, I flashed the wrong firmware for my phone
  • If it boots, all is not lost. Take it slow, work it through. You can get the right firmware flashed.
• Root, Install ClockworkMod and Remove Bundled Apps from Official 2.3.5
  • Everything you will need if you are running the Official U8800 2.3.5 Firmware.
• What forum is there for this phone?
  • Read here a lot before rushing in, look around and take it slow to avoid too many "my phone is bricked" threads.
• Is FM radio a possibility?
  • There is *some* support for fm radio, but it doesn't look like anybody is supporting it natively. Spirit FM works to a point, but is buggy and needs root.
• What alternatives are there to std headphones and mic?
  • The pinout is funny, so check before buying it is compatible, Sony ones seem to work ok.
• What happens if I want a recovery menu with my official Gingerbread update from Huawei?
  • You need to root and follow the work around above to get the recovery back.
• What phone do I have and what does that mean?
  • Don't flash a rom without checking what phone you have, 8800pro and 8800-51 are not compatible with 8800 and 8800h.
• My IMEI is null?
  • Back up everything first, but use the app in the post above to back up IMEI before starting and flashing operations, they can have massive consequences.
• Remember, Backup, Backup, Backup. You can never have enough backups.
