Vox uspl

Here are steps required to flash SPL so you can flash ROMs which aren't from your Vox provider (HTC, Orange, Vodafone...)

Nobody here on xda-developers.com will take responsibility for the mistakes YOU make for bricking your device. You should also know that flashing a new ROM to your Vox can be a problem if you want to make use of your warranty. Make sure you read the steps below very careful.

How to use uSPL (patched SPL) to flash a softSPL and then your cooked ROM

#Connect your device to your PC. Ensure it is connected to ActiveSync.
#First we need to app-unlock the device. Open the SDA_~ApplicationUnlock folder and there the SDA_~ApplicationUnlock.exe!
 The status should be "Ready" Click on the "Remove Lock"-button. Wait for a confirmation and your Vox should be  app-unlocked.

#Now open the VOX_USPL folder and execute the uspl_116_jockyw.bat! Just follow the instructions in the bat-window! You have to hit return a couple of times!

#Once it's done it will say "now start a MTTY session or use RUU to flash any ROM"! Your Vox should now have a dimly lit screen. DO NOT unplug it!
#Now you have two options:

• directly flash the desired ROM, but then you would have to do the above again each time you flash a new ROM!!! - for this follow the steps as described here.
• flash a permanent patched SPL - for this follow the steps below:
• Basically it is the same as flashing a ROM or radio. In the VOX_USPL folder execute ROMUpdateUtility.exe.
• Now you can follow the guide on flashing as these are the same steps. You are now at step 2!
• Once you have completed all the steps you can flash a cooked ROM everytime. But remember that flashing a ROM from our provider will override the patched SPL and you have to repeat all the steps.
