- The *.19 update only fixes the Asus App Backup application which Roach2010 chose to fix himself, thus he has no need to update his ROM to *.19.

Linux
There are two ways for running Linux on the Transformer. The first is running it directly from the internal memory and requires access to the bootloader with nvflash. This requires that your Transformer has a SBKv1. If your serial number is below B70 (e.g. B60 or B50) you are safe. If your SN is B70 you might be lucky. But if your SN is over B70 you can't do the trick. The second method is CHROOT which will run on all Transformers. Short descriptions on both ways and links to threads on the topic are below.
Ubuntu on internal storage
This will run Ubuntu directly on your internal storage. You can choose to only have Ubuntu or dual boot Ubuntu and Android.

CHROOT Ubuntu
CHROOTing is a way of running a linux-disto on top of another. A complete explanation can be found here.
USB Peripherals
- Mice and Keyboards work out of the box
- USB 3G modems
- USB modem needs to be attached with SIM-card inserted before boot
- DVB decoders (might work)
