This is a onetime exercise to ensure you continue to have access to DreamSpark.com, and in no way affects your current software download history or capability to download new software.
To make it easy for you to complete this account association and transition, they have created a very simple process that allows you to quickly associate your DreamSpark.com account with your Microsoft Account. The next time you sign in to DreamSpark.com you will be prompted with instructions detailing what you need to do. They're estimate this will take no more than five minutes to complete. If you do not have a Microsoft Account, you will be able to create one during this process.

If you do not complete this association by September 30, 2014, you will be required to create a new account and verify your student status again.
