I haven't tried MIUI 8. But maybe I can help. Check all these things :-
1. Delete unwanted apks from /system/app and /system/priv-app along with the .odex files.
2. See if any unwanted apks are also present in /data/app. Some Xiaomi and Google apps are also located in /data/miui/app which are installed after selecting phone locale. However you can delete this folder before to prevent the unwanted installation.
3. DON'T delete *XiaomiAccount.apk otherwise you can't complete phone setup.
4. When phone boots for the first time after flashing ROM, don't provide internet access. First complete the setup and check if any removed apps are installed again and then connect to internet to add accounts, .etc. because I had once noticed that missing apps are automatically downloaded and installed in the background by some hidden app in the system.
If above steps don't work, I have another tough method.
No. That's odd. Check again whether you removed just the browser app or any other app too.
'Cause I am also using MIUI 7 and after every update the MiBrowser is usually the first app I remove. It never caused any problems (in all three : MIUI 5,6 &7). The browser app is not even a system app. It can also be removed by non-rooted users.

I haven't tested this but, possibly after modifying the zip, the signature is tampered and it can't be flashed with Mi Recovery. But I'm not sure. I used Philz-Touch 6 recovery with Signature Verification disabled to flash this.

You can delete both the folders (but if you also remove the Google apps in this folder, after factory resetting the phone (if you're really gonna do that), Google apps don't work; you need to manually install Config Updater, Google One-Time initializer, Services Framework, Calendar sync and Play Store again)
From /system/priv-app
CleanMaster.apk
Mipub.apk
[WeatherProvider.apk, Weather.apk] (WARNING : MIUI shows weather info in the notification shade; maybe Android UI will stop working if you remove the weather app; not tested yet)
From /system/app
Stk.apk (Sim Toolkit : optional)
BasicDreams.apk (MIUI doesn't daydream)
PicoTts.apk (Optional : You can use Google TTS instead)
PhaseBeam.apk
KSICibaEngine.apk
Calculator.apk (Optional : you can use other calculator instead)
Galaxy4.apk
MiDiscover.apk (purpose unknown)
NoiseField.apk
MagicSmokeWallpapers.apk
PaymentService.apk (MiWallet)
AnalyticsCore.apk
TranslationService.apk
AntHalService.apk (Needed probably for Fitness Accessories)
LiveWallpapers.apk
HoloSpiralWallpaper.apk
LiveWallpapersPicker.apk
SecurityCoreAdd.apk (WARNING : Don't remove this app on those Mi phones which have the Second Space/Dual apps feature shown in the Update info/What's new in Updater app)
Email.apk (Optional : Gmail is better and uses less RAM than this app)
SystemAdSolution.apk
VisualizationWallpapers.apk
PhotoTable.apk
From /system/tts/lang_pico
Delete this folder and all contents if you're gonna use some other TTS engine like Google.
The people who don't have Mi account can remove some more apps apart from these, the list of which, I haven't prepared yet. However, these apps can be removed by all MIUI 8 Global ROM users irrespective of whether they have an Mi account or not.
Yes, you need root to remove Yellow Pages (unless you remove it from the update zip before flashing it)
*But it's recommended that you DO NOT REMOVE Yellow Pages; if you do, the Contacts & Dialer app will not work properly. You will not be able to view any contact details.
So, you should remove the Yellow Pages app only if you're not using your phone for calling.

Ah.. Thank you. I just flashed MIUI 8 China stable on my Note 3 MTK (no global room available.. ). I uninstalled most of the blotware and installed google services. What more should I do to make the room as global as posible ?
Xiaomi.eu roms and Mi-Globe roms are already debloated. Mi globe is based on .eu roms but they have a ROM builder in their website where you can choose to do not install some apps like browser, weather, xiaomi sync services and others! ?

Can you provide me a list of system apps preinstalled in your China ROM so that I can compare with the global ROM? Actually, I've never used China ROM. But some global apps are incompatible with China ROM and vice versa.
No. Don't try it. The security and settings apps are linked. Last time (in an older MIUI) I removed the security app, the settings app also could not be launched. Besides, if you remove the security app, data usage control is lost (but you can use the Android inbuilt data monitor always), you can't control app Autostart; blocklist, permission manager and app lock will not work.

How to use Android's inbuilt data usage monitor on MIUI? [UPDATE : This procedure is useful on MIUI ROMs based on an older version of Android. (I have used Android 4.4.4 at the time of writing.) In newer Android versions, some people say that the inbuilt Android data Monitor has been removed (I haven't checked this myself.) However, you can give it a try because it doesn't harm anything. In the worst case, you will just get an error that the component does not exist in the Settings app.]
In non-MIUI phones, there is a section in the Android's settings app : "Data Usage". On opening, it presents you with an internet usage graph and app-wise counting. But in MIUI, there is a different internet usage monitor created by MIUI, which can be opened from the Security app. However, if you don't like it, you can use the default Android data monitor (especially if you would like to see the graph). You don't need to install anything new because it is already present in MIUI but it is hidden. To use it:-
You need to have an advanced application that will allow you to create shortcuts to custom components of applications.
If you don't have one, get it from the Play Store. I recommend using xShortcut (the free version will do the job)
Now, create a custom shortcut with these values :-
Shortcut name & icon : It's up to you (This is the name and icon of the shortcut that will appear on your home screen)
Target : Activity
Component Package : com.android.settings
Component Class FQN : com.android.settings.Settings$DataUsageSummaryActivity
A few days ago my Xiaomi Redmi 1S received the MIUI 9 Global Stable update. But since my phone is quite old now and only a few people actually use this old phone, I don't think that posting a bloatware list based on this phone might be quite useful (since it's still running Android 4.4.4) because in newer Mi phones, there might also be some other apps which are bloatware but my phone's ROM might not have them.
Is anyone interested anyway?
i made one debloat script for miui 9 I'll share it with you guys if interested
---------- Post added at 02:53 PM ---------- Previous post was at 02:15 PM ----------
the following are all the apps i remove when i use miui9.. of course up to you what to exclude from this list and keep instead installed in your phone (better to move these apps somewhere else though rather than really removing them, so you can restore them anytime in case of need)
..and before touching system partition ALWAYS make a full backup to restore previous working phone just in case of any problems, bootloops etc!

MIUI is known for it's bloatware and there are some of us who want the best of both worlds, a simple ROM with good looks.... so here comes Titanium Backup (or any other Root Uninstaller app) to the rescue! I've tested deleting all these apps and used the ROM for quite some time without any FCs or bugs. This is the list on MIUI v6 5.1.9 (9th January 2015 Update).

as promised, this is the list of apps I used to delete when I was using miui V6 (I always manually delete the apk's from /system/app or /system/priv-app with a root file manager, namely ES File Manager, rather then freezing apps with titanium app or similar)
of course this is safe here, but some of the following may be useful for someone, so be sure what the following apks are for, before deleting them Btw in case of any problems, you can always extract the apk's you deleted from the miui zip, put them back in system/app or system/priv-app folders, correct permissions, and reboot.. easy )
