Hi,

I am using Xperia E dual (with XboosT). I want to install a large app (Asphalt 8 -size 1.5gb) from play store, but my phone memory is only 700+mb. Is there any way that i can install the app directly to sd card. Moving to SD card is not an option for me as the app is too large to be installed in the phone memory primarily. Please provide me some solutions. Thanks

Sorry for the late reply. I missed your post

It's quite simple if you mean internal SD card. Downloading directly to the external SD card would require a modified vold.stab(after installing you can use a tool like DirectoryBinder to move the obb data). You need root for this!

1. Download the app Terminal Emulator from the Play Store.
2. Open it.
3. Type: su
4. Grant superuser permissions.
5. Type: pm set-install-location 2
6. Hit enter.
7. Reboot.
8. Install any app, and you'll notice it installs directly to the internal SD.

Hope this works
