Default Intall zip went wrong on cwm-based recovery

I tried to intall the alpha CM 11 zip on a boot.img of stock sony Miro. It went wrong. Battery dead.
Now I can only start in recovery mode, but my drivers won't install on the PC.
So I can't use fastboot or flashtool.

Can someone give directions on stupidity

Assuming you have CWM, go to Mounts and Storage > Mount external_sd as USB drive > plug the phone into your PC. It should come up as a regular flash drive.

Now, download a stock flashable ZIP, CM10, or whatever ROM you want. Put it there, then eject your phone. Go to Install zip > from external_sd, choose your ZIP and flash.
Insert really cool signature here...
