Oh you want to use custom rom right..
Follow the steps
1.root your phone.
2.backup your ta(if your want to lock your bootloader again and to claim warranty , just restore it)
3.unlock bootloader using flashtool.
4.grab any custom rom.
Eg : cm11 by varun,
Extract boot.img from the zip , flash it via flashtool in fastboot mode.
(You will get cwm )
5.flash custom rom.
