I did SystemUI for holders XMS running 4.3 stock systemui which to load the recovery and then we have a how to holders Xperia M2 tested on c1905 fully working ...

you need:
-root
-Deodex

mod to load the recovery..

so my friend, need a root, a super use mod and deodexed if a stock 4.3 and must be unlocked bootloader and build.prop there is nothing to add
