I'm running Carbon 14/08/08 on my XS, with newest PA kernel as of today.
Two days ago, I've tried to flash newest MIUI rom from official chinese site and it worked, but...
Ever since then I'm encountering a strange bug - the phone doesn't boot for the second time after flashing a rom or restoring backup, just shows bootlogo "sony", flashes the pink LED, and stops there until i reboot it. It's something /data related, because if I restore this partition, the system boots up quickly and normally, until reboot. Even if i make a backup and restore AFTER the first boot, so during the time it's "bricked", restoring seems to temporarily do it's work.
I tried to wait on the sony logo, but the phone didn't boot even after a hour, forcing me to restart.
How can I fix that...?
Second question is that:
Is there a way to set up dual-booting with 4.4 Carbon as the main one with all apps and such, and second one with stock 4.0.4 (just for camera and HDMI)? I've read about "boot manager", but since I'm not a linux genius, (also from Poland, so english is a bit bad ) I hardly understand how to prepare everything :/ help?
