Hi Guys,

My name is Sumedh. I am new to the forum and using Sony Xperia ION. Since I am a new user, I do not have access to comment on any post.
Yesterday I Hard bricked my phone. I searched for the help and got below link.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...2243299&page=2
I followed the instructions given in thread and now I am facing a problem. I have plugged in my phone on wallcharger yesterday and it is showing RED LED since 9+ hours. The Sony Logo appeared and disappeared for my times since I got the RED LED. The RED LED vanishes when Sony Logo is displayed on screen and it reappears when the logo fades away. I am not sure what is happening here. Can anyone of you please help me to resolve this as I am left with this phone only?

maybe u should try the other way round then.......

since u already bricked ur phone......
1.leave it and let the battery uncharge ..... maybe days...
or
2. bring to a repair shop and ask them to open the case.....
and unplug the battery cord from the mainboard/motherboard and leave it for some time
(several hours~days...)then plug it back and charge.....

when the red light returns + the SONY logo is seen.....
try FLASHTOOL or SONY UPDATE SERVICE PRO to get your OS back !!!

and remember... ALL your things inside the phone will be gone !!!!!!

Solved Hard Brick!
Hey bro, I used rubber band technique and suddenly I found my phone in TWRP recovery which was previously installed and my CWM recovery was erased! I powered off device and tried to flash 4.1.2 JB firmware and it worked! My phone is alive again with 3% battery charging! Thanks for help however, I found some strange thing while flashing. The flashtool was unable to detect my phone. Attached are logs. Any thoughts on below lines?

Easy way is to connect to the charger and Press POWER ON + VOLUME UP button for 10 to 20 seconds until you feel continuous vibration and then switch on the phone.
