Keyboard disappears and won't return while using chrome

I've got a really frustrating problem with chrome. Every now and then while typing the keyboard disappears and wont return until I stop and reopen chrome. Not rooted so can't reinstall chrome.

Any ideas?

I have that too. I just keep pressing / long pressing the text box and the keyboard returns after a while

Same problem. Drives me insane.

Tried chrome beta but same.

So u mean there is nothing we can do about?
I'm using the original rom and updated it a few days ago
I tried Mozilla instead of Chrome but I'm still having the same problem

P.S when it occurs phone temperature is too high

Chrome demands way too much of the ram use Firefox or something else and you will see the improvement
