It should be possible. The Xperia Z has a working android 5 build already. And Xperia Z and tablet Z are nearly the same.

I don't think so.

I got it working on pollux. I'm currently working on the pollux_windy kernel, but I need someone to test it.

Someone with unlocked bootloader and Sony Stock-Rom v. 10.5.1.A.0.x.

Pm if you want me to test the Pollux_windy stock kernel with kexec patch. I have been too focused on my phone getting lollipop..time for me to look at tab to give it love too

That's excellent news indeed

Thanks for your time in doing this!

Did you manage to test the kernel as yet?

Also, appreciate that its not stated on the first post as supported, but are the current cm11 nightlies supported as a secondary rom, once you have the stock kernel working with the kexec patch?

The listed roms are host roms only. They have an kexec kernel. Secondary roms don't need special edits. In theory every android rom should work.(except stock)
So yes, cm11 can be installed as secondary.

Ok thanks, that is what I was used to with the OnePlus implementation, but I have missed that they were host roms.

Working great for me on my SGP312, so thanks for that.

One small point is that if I select to boot to recovery from the rom boot menu it still boots into recovery when the rom is selected to boot normally from the multirom rom menu.

Also, would you have any plans of supporting the multirom manager app at all?

I don't really understand what you mean. Could you explain?

I can try. I'm not really experienced in java.

No issues with the multirom app, its a nice to have.

The other issue is also not major once you know it. Maybe its sorted in v30.

If on xperia rom you selected reboot and then select boot to recovery it will reboot and go to recovery.

If you then reboot from recovery you go to the multirom menu and select xperia rom, it will somehow remember that I previous booted to recovery and boot back into recovery, even though I selected to boot the xperia rom.

Not sure I have better explained, but not an issue to be honest.
