Default [Dev Q] Changing Partitions

Hey all, this question is specially dedicated to devs or just to people here which the knowledge :P

Our Sola has 1GB ROM memory right? As everybody knows any ROM needs so much size.

So can"t we change the partitions of the memory, that we have for example a bigger cache size?

How much space do you think the rom takes, and is there any shortage of cache?

I would make 500MB ROM (No ROM except the full stock jb roms have such a big size). And the Rest to Cache. I don't think so but with a bigger Cache we can have a better multitasking

How cache has to do with multi tasking?
Now go into shell as root and type df.

When you leave an app it'll buffered in the cache (?)

and the terminal says:

/dev -> 194.2MB
/mnt/asec -> 194.2MB
/mnt/obb -> 194.2MB
/system -> 1007.9MB (50% too much imho :P)
/data -> 2.0GB
/cache -> 246.1MB (500 would be awesome?)
/modemfs -> 2.8MB
/data/idd -> 7.5MB (If this is used for the IddAgent.apk it's useless for me)
/mnt/sdcard -> 4.0GB
/mnt/secure/asec: Permission denied

Oh and I'm on modified Stock ICS
