Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone had any advice, I'd be grateful for any help.

I recently dropped my Xperia U and now it will not turn on. It just bootloop and the screen does not display anything but the screen back light and the lcds underneath the screen still flash. I cannot enter recovery but when I try to enter flashboot mode the bootloop cycles stop as if it is in flahsboot (but the screen is still blank).

The question is - does anyone know what part(s) are likely to be broken with those symptoms?

I am thinking if buying either another xperia u with a cracked screen or a new screen, depending on what is wrong with it. I am competent at changing components bit I am struggling to identify the problem.

Thanks for your time.

Buy a new digitizer. Don't go to Sony Center because it will takes you 3 to 4 months!
