I've flashed my C6806 ultra to be on the romdump of the GPe edition's Android located here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2800414

I know you can't restore TA on custom roms, but I'm not so sure about this one.

Can anyone provide any info if restoring TA on this would soft-brick the device?

Never done it myself, but you're on a custom kernel when you're running the GPe ROM. It's custom if it has recovery, so you will soft brick it.
