Hi guyz, here is another rom for our beloved
Xperia Z aka Yuga,
from Team Validus called...


Validus Rom





Rom based on Slim/AOSP plus many additions that u'll like





*NEW Features list (its a start and getting longer everydayz)*
  • Features
    Nav bar tweaks (on/off toggle and custom dimensions);
    Animated rotation tile;
    Wake up on plug;
    Notification ticker;
    Answer calls with hardware home button;
    Status bar clock tweaks (right, center or hide clock with many dates formats to show. Custom colors included);
    Notifications counter;
    Lockscreen Shortcuts;
    LCD Density;
    System Animations;
    Network Traffic;
    Dark MMS (WIP);
    Material Dark;
    Volume keys wake the device;
    Embedded SuperSU;
    Clear all button in recent panel with custom option (hide, top right or top left);
    Quick settings pull down with one finger (right, left or off);
    Smart pull down;
    Configurable 0, 90, 180 and 270 degree rotation;
    Brightness control through status bar;
    Double tap status bar sleep;

Instructions


1. Make sure you have CWM installed and a working nandroid backup

2. Download the ROM.

3. Place the ROM on your SD-Card.

4.Extract boot.img included in zip and fastboot flash it via Flashtool or CMD

5. Reboot to recovery.

6. Wipe data-factory reset/cache partition/dalvik cache

7. Flash the ROM.

Optional- Flash GApps.

8. Reboot and Enjoy Validus!

Nice ROM! But I cannot seem to find where to enable heads up.
The heads up settings are there but heads up cannot be activated.
Also I don't see the custom system animations anywhere.

Very nice rom. It's probably one of the smoothest I've ever used. I also like the fact it's Slim based with a theme engine and all the extra functions you get in other roms. The only reason why I won't use this rom for now is because battery wise it is quite bad compared to other roms like Mokee, Carbon etc.

Anyway keep up the good work and at last a question: have you ever considered porting Mahdi's rom to our device?

lol np , im not a fan; and i don't really see the point to update a rom every day...so instead i prefer to bring lot of choices and the most i can weekly builds...

    So new build is up...didn't had time to publish earlier, but...doesn't matter; apparently 65 dudes knew where to find it :p

    Calls are fixed, data is ok and so far everything is ok...this one pretty stable so time for me to maintain me other projects.
    will make a new build thursday or sooner if i have time left.
    So as u noticed, wolves came on headers ^^ and for now, no possibilities to take 'em off, we'll see if there's a way to add a switch to bring back to normal, but heh, its original development; luv it or hate it...if u hate it, feel free to go back on regular cyanogen ;)


    i hope u enjoy our hard work cuz, trully, i/we spend LOT of time on it. :D

    Maybe due to sepolicies fuc*ked...im working pretty hard on this, be patient its coming, and i can already tell u guyz, next update will kick some as*ses...linaro+sm toolchain and all optimisations+flags been added, pc takes a 45 minutes to build instead of 20 ...and with art it will be the smoothest sh*it u ever tried lollll

    Well it will wait a bit, im stopping all my activities now, i broke a fuse yesterday and getting more than pi*ssed of whats happening, im not a dev so taking me ages to fix things and btw using other's works.
    So im quitting for a month or 2 to learn C and specific android stuff to become a dev cuz as of now, im a regular user playing with code "without knowing what i do"

    Sorry about that but i should be back stronger :) thanks for understanding.
