or you could try this to root your device, it worked on my Xperia - https://www.towelroot.com/ Your Antivirus might say its a virus but it did ROOT my device, Sony Xperia Z C6603 4.4.2 10.5.A.0.230.

Hmm thats interesting.. That give hope mean 4.4.2 is not last update for XZ

Same feeling here.. 4.4.4 is a major improvement over 4.4.2.. Tons of internal issues will be solved.. I would br happy with 4.4.4.. But its always good to see Android L too.. Lets hope for the best..
